Laguna Road Recycled Water Pipeline
Unincorporated Ventura County, CA
Connecting recycled water infrastructure to strengthen regional groundwater sustainability
Ardurra designed recycled water pipeline connections for two Ventura County water agencies as part of the Fox Canyon Groundwater Management Agency (FCGMA) grant program. The work included 8,900 linear feet of 18-inch PVC pipeline for Pleasant Valley County Water District (PVCWD) and 2,800 linear feet of 24-inch PVC pipeline for United Water Conservation District (UWCD).
Key Highlights:
-
Designed HDD crossings beneath creek beds and drainage channels for both pipeline segments to reduce environmental impact
-
Coordinated with agricultural stakeholders to minimize disruption to surrounding farm operations throughout design and construction
-
Selected by PVCWD for construction management and inspection services for the completed pipeline
-
UWCD's pipeline segment is currently out to bid
The project strengthens regional water reliability by linking recycled water supplies to groundwater recharge infrastructure, supporting long-term water sustainability for Ventura County's agricultural and municipal users.
